Annie Mac came out with this at the start of 2017 – like most of these documentaries about the closure of London (and the wider UK’s) late-night venues, this was probably the best one I’ve seen as it encompasses a lot of subjects – also making clear the issue that Nightlife venues are anything that’s open from 6pm to 6am – bars, clubs, bowling places, etc
As well, what hits home is – after experiencing a generic night-out in Peterborough – she says that it feels ‘dated’ and ‘like a wedding’ which hits home that there needs to be a lot of diversity, which is also one of the issues as well (I think) but a really good (quick) insight into the issues on Nightlife I think!
